Anonymity

I understand those of you who wish to remain anonymous. Really I do. However, with the spoil sports from last week, and the JACKASS who put up some crap link today NO MORE. (and apologies to you anon, if you are a person who actually read and liked my blog... But your blog has no content, so I think that's not the case....)

Were this the real world, where I could shun people who do stuff like this, I'd do that. But you private sorts may get an excite or yahoo account and make up a name and then post....

Sorry kids. If anyone knows how to fuck with the person who posted the crap link, please tell me how.

Someone posted a comment with a link to a blog that was an add and nothing more. If they had posted a comment with a link to their blog, then, cool with me, but not spam level stuff....I mean, they said, "Come and post on my blog" but there was no content and no where to post...and there were a few people I felt were hiding behind anonymity to say rude things. Criticize all you want, just take the time to give yourself a name. : )

And then, there are people like Whiteshepherd who said he wasn't reading anymore and now I know he is : ) Hi Atreia. And I agree with you- but you don't have to make a blog-- you just have to provide an email and pick a name. Right?

Hmmm, I just looked into this and maybe I'm wrong. I don't want people to have to make a blog just to comment. I really like the comments ( yes, even the critical ones...) I guess I'll think it over tonight.

I have re-enabled anon comments just to give you "regular" anons like Southern Magnolia to comment. I was just pretty disgusted by the fake link.

I'm glad you re-enabled the anons, as I did go to the trouble of creating a blog so I could have an ID, but I put the password on a piece of paper in my pants pocket that day at work and......
::blush:: I'll find it one of these days.

The harshly critical anonymous post last week made me want to separate my "anon" from theirs. I really didn't want to create a blog --have no intention of posting on it--but was caught up in righteous indignation. ;)

OS- I don't know. I'll bet they have some sort of auto message forwarder to scroll through the blogs like you found mine and post the link to all that allow anon comments-- Did your messages say the same things?

Anyone? Anyone? Know a way to nail them? Maybe we can report them to Blogspot? Of course, they'll just make another.... I guess we can just ignore them...Often that's the thing to do with boorish behavior.

The SAME thing happened to me so I disabled Anonymous comments and they keep coming back. Ugh!
